Hello from the Pack!
Fall is officially here, and the Ella & Bella crew is wagging into October with momentum! Our kitchen at the American Legion has been buzzing — treats baking, bags sealing, and lots of mission moments happening every week. If you’re nearby on Mondays or Tuesdays, stop by 1120 Sawmill Road to see our team in action and grab fresh treats straight from the source.
We also had an exciting milestone: CBS17 visited our kitchen for an interview and behind‑the‑scenes look at how we bake, package, and empower our crew. It was an incredible opportunity to share our mission with the wider community, and we can’t wait to see the segment air.
And of course… we’ve got a full lineup of October events where you can find us, meet the team, and stock up on treats your pups will love.
Here’s what we’re wagging about this month…

What's Got Us Wagging!
We are working on new skills!
We started with: BRAIDING. We plan to create a tug toy for the holidays and are practicing how to braid! Thank you John Cole for creating the boards used to help make this easier for our team members!
We are also working on: Sales!
The team members have been practicing how to talk to customers and engage and hold a conversation! We hold mock sessions for them to practice their script!
And we are also working on Prepping!
The team are learning how to weigh and measure into batch ready containers.
We have been spreading our mission and selling dog treats at a variety of events during September!
Including:
The Sneaky Penguin!
Apex Farmers Market!
And Canine Con in Holly Springs!
And we are now selling at a few new locations!
If you have the chance, please visit them and support our local businesses and treat your dog while you are there!
Falls Village Veterinary Hospital, 7005 Harps Mill Rd, Raleigh 27615
Southern Heart Veterinary Hospital, 806 N. Arendell Ave, Zebulon 27597
And we have fun at work!
Did you know every week, Ella’s brother Will (one of the co-founders of Ella & Bella Pet Company and now an Army soldier) tells a joke for the team and volunteers?
